With 700+ people, we aim to make prevention the new norm of care. Our Mission & Values We help people live in good health to 100 while helping employers feel proud, turning health benefits from a cost centre into their most valuable investment. Our cultural values include: Mission is the Boss: long‑term thinking, mission above all else Member & customer‑led: obsessed with solving problems and delighting users Champions of excellence: extremely high standards and talent density Distributed ownership: everyone owns decisions and results Radically transparent: all information accessible, written‑first, async decisions Optimistic alchemy: optimists who collaborate with genuine care Empathetic challengers: direct, caring feedback to help each other grow Bold contrarians: think differently, try new approaches Disciplined execution: decisive action with compounding focus Fight for simplicity: high‑impact processes, smart frugality Position: Software Engineer – Global Architecture (D‑F level) We are building global, configurable modules to replace fragmented country‑specific codebases. Join the Global Architecture team to enable cross‑market feature delivery and streamline technical complexity. Responsibilities Design Cross‑Cutting Modules – Transform country‑specific implementations into elegant global components that become new building blocks for other teams. Remove Technical Blockers for Product Teams – Tackle cross‑domain blockers, eliminate team‑specific workarounds, and allow product teams to focus on core business. Orchestrate Data Transformations – Implement strategies to harmonise different countries' data models, consolidating existing data into unified schemas while preserving local flexibility. Own Your Solutions – Design, build, deploy, and maintain end‑to‑end solutions; we don’t just design, we own what we create. Why This Role Matters Focus on High‑Impact, Cross‑Domain Solutions – Every solution has a wide impact across teams. Enable Teams, Don’t Replace Them – Work on obstacles that prevent teams from building global‑first solutions. Learn and Share Globalisation Patterns – Develop expertise and share learning to help other teams make better decisions. Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in complex, multi‑domain systems. Strong object‑oriented programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or modern JavaScript. Experience with architecture patterns and ability to articulate trade‑offs. Hands‑on coding and deployment across tiers; no ivory‑tower architects. Ability to navigate and influence cross‑functional technical decisions. Preferred Experience with distributed ownership, transparent decision‑making, and fast iterations. Mentoring or leading engineering crews, contributing to hiring and assessment. Language fluency: English required; French not mandatory. Perks & Benefits Fair rewards – Generous equity packages complement base salary. Flexible office – HQ, co‑working hubs, or full‑remote with home office sponsorship. All tools needed – MacBook Pro, keyboard, laptop stand, monitor, noise‑canceling headphones. Flexible vacation & hours – Organise your time as you wish. Health insurance – Extensively comprehensive for you and your children; partners 90‑100% depending on country (permanent contracts only). Transport – Country‑specific commuter benefits. Learning & training – Free books and conference budget. Coaching – Dedicated coach from day one. Parental leave – Extended for all new parents. Important Note We hire people, not roles. If you’re excited but don’t meet every requirement, we’ll still consider you. Everyone, including under‑represented candidates, is encouraged to apply. Research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements; we want to change that. Application Process While applying for a specific area, we may assign you to a different engineering team where your impact is greatest. Check the application notes for more details.
