They offer cash back, buy‑now‑pay‑later, automatic coupons, price drop alerts, carbon‑footprint tracking, and more. They are building an AI‑powered assistant to help users find the right product based on price, quality, or environmental impact. After reaching profitability in their core market, they are expanding internationally with a primary focus on the US. Job Description As Account Management Lead (Card‑Linked), you will lead a team of three Account Managers (with potential growth to six) to drive the growth and success of Joko’s existing card‑linked partnerships. You’ll collaborate with the VP Card‑Linked and cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Business Operations, Finance, Product, Data) to ensure strategic alignment and sustained growth. What You Will Do Team leadership: hire, train, and develop a high‑performing Account Management team, set goals, coach, foster accountability, collaboration, and excellence. Commercial excellence: support your team in key negotiations with top partners; build strong, long‑lasting relationships with CMOs and senior marketing stakeholders. Performance tracking: define and own revenue targets and OKRs; build quarterly plans with the VP Card‑Linked and collaborate with internal teams to drive execution. Revenue operations: ensure processes such as revenue forecasts and CRM management are in place; optimize cash‑in revenue; work with Business Operations and Finance to implement these processes. Strategic projects: lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve partner value proposition, pricing models, and internal efficiency. Preferred Experience At least 6‑8 years of business experience (client‑facing in a startup or tech industry, finance, or consulting), preferably in Sales or Account Management. Graduate from a top‑tier business or engineering school. Entrepreneurial spirit: passion for starting from scratch, embracing challenges, being hands‑on, ambitious, and an effective problem‑solver. Independence: capable of autonomous project management from inception to completion, setting and exceeding high standards. Business sense: keen ability to grasp people’s needs, surpass goals, and close deals. Analytical skills: enjoy analyzing data and making informed decisions. Energy: thrive on connecting with new people, active listening, crafting solutions to challenges. Efficiency: fond of productivity tools and able to deliver on time on projects with many stakeholders. Mindset: love challenges, welcome feedback, constantly learn, adapt, organize, and always go the extra mile. Languages: fluent in French and English, written and spoken. Managerial experience is a strong plus. Knowledge of the media & ad‑tech ecosystem is a plus. This role is based in Paris. Step 1 – Team interview (45 min): conversation with two Joko team members (could include the Hiring Manager, team members, or others). Step 2 – Role‑specific assessments: take‑home case study for non‑tech roles or live technical interviews (coding, system design) for tech roles; research internship extra round. Step 3 – Founder interview (45 min): conversation with two founders. References: up to five calls with former colleagues or managers. Optional coffee meeting with team members to experience our culture.
