About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team at Mistral AI. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating pipeline and driving revenue growth in the European market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pipeline Generation
    • Qualify incoming leads and prospects through effective communication and qualification criteria.
    • Work closely with our Enterprise and Mid-Market Account Executives to hand off qualified sales leads and create a seamless customer experience.
    • Build and deploy highly effective, personalized cadences to nurture prospects and drive conversions.
    • Attach prospects' needs to Mistral AI's solutions that meet their requirements, igniting interest and driving sales.
    • Confidently handle objections across all communication methods to drive conversion.
    • Schedule qualified meetings to achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals using multichannel and multitouch prospecting cadences and tactics.
  • Pipeline Generation from Outbound
    • Develop effective account plans for target accounts, leveraging research, understanding of key use cases, and verticals, as well as signal from open-source downloads in partnership with account executives.
    • Identify existing and new contacts to prospect into, aligned with our use cases and buyer personas.
  • Funnel Management & Optimization
    • Consistently leverage CRM to track meetings and qualification.
    • Ensure strong data hygiene in CRM.
    • Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback on Ideal Customer Profile, Personas, Use Cases, and Prospect Requirements to Marketing/Product functions to improve positioning and campaign effectiveness.
    • Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback to Revenue Operations to improve funnel conversions, including Lead scoring.
    • Effectively leverage technology to automate individualized nurturing.
    About You
    • 24 years of Sales Development experience, managing outbound and inbound funnels to generate pipeline in complex technical environments, such as AI, Data, and Enterprise Infrastructure.
    • Driven and motivated to build a career in sales in a best-in-class environment, with a strong ability to learn and adapt quickly.
    • Excellent communication skills, including asking great qualification questions, impactful elevator pitches, and introductions to solutions, with the ability to close for a next step.
    • Strong business acumen, with the ability to adapt questions and positioning based on understanding of the prospect's business and priorities.
    • Ability to manage time well and prioritize activities effectively.
    • Passion for AI, with a constant drive to stay updated and ahead of the curve.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a strong ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and a hunger to learn and be coached.
