Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Business Development to join our team. As part of our continued growth and development, this role will play a key part in strengthening our existing team and contributing to the growth of our Industrial/Automotive Vertical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and secure revenue and market share from new customers in the Industrial, Tech, and Automotive sector.
- Build trusted relationships with new clients and promote BDP International services.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and potential opportunities in the coverage region.
- Develop and implement sales plans and sales campaigns to take advantage of market opportunities.
- Represent BDP International at industry events and conferences to promote the brand.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
- Solid knowledge of domestic and international logistics.
- Charismatic and confident personality, with excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
- Track record of creating and enabling revenue streams, business development, and networking.
- Ability to effectively network and influence prospects from senior to executive level.
- Strong negotiation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent presentation skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication in English and any additional language.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft tools.
- Combined excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to analyze situations and leverage on data to make good decisions based on available information.
