About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Business Development Manager to join our team at Nippon Express Europe GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expansion in the Mobility industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Enhance our position in the Mobility industry by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic account plans, and achieving sales targets.
  • Key Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the Mobility sector, understand their needs, and provide tailored logistics solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth in the Mobility sector, manage the entire sales cycle, and participate in industry events and conferences.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations, act as the main point of contact for key accounts, and collaborate with cross-functional and cross-country teams.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to management, highlighting performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience of at least 10 years in sales and business development, preferably within the logistics sector specifically focused on Mobility or the Automotive industry.
  • Location Requirement: Applicants must be residents of France.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the French Mobility market, including customer needs, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Sales Excellence: Strong consultative selling skills with a focus on cross-selling and expanding customer portfolios.
  • Customer Focus: Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships.
  • CRM Proficiency: Expertise in managing sales pipelines and RFQs through CRM systems.
  • Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to close deals and achieve win-win outcomes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to effectively present and communicate complex concepts.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team and across departments.
  • Results-Driven: Achievement-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work and driving business growth.
