About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at Club Med. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for producing high-quality pastries and desserts for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Pastry Cook Assistants and provide guidance and training to ensure excellent results.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to create a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to lead a team of Pastry Cook Assistants.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of traditional pastry, catering, and Viennese breads.
  • Fluency in English.
