Position Overview:
The Procter & Gamble facility is a key production site for various personal care products, producing millions of units daily. Our brands encompass well-known names in the industry. The site boasts advanced automation and cutting-edge technology in the cosmetics sector. The apprenticeship program offers a chance to tackle diverse challenges while gaining insights into our innovative technologies and methodologies. Your objective will be to enhance your skills through hands-on experience, mentorship, and structured training.
Your Role in Enhancing P&G's Operations:
Within our manufacturing plant, the Packing division is responsible for the final packaging of our products. The primary focuses of this department are Safety, Quality, and Productivity. The essence of a process packing engineer's role lies in the ongoing enhancement of production lines to boost efficiency, including minimizing changeover durations and reducing downtime.
As part of your apprenticeship, you will concentrate on optimizing format changeover times between production cycles. Your project will encompass the following tasks:
- Conducting observations and gathering data in the operational environment
- Managing the PDCA cycle for modifications
- Analyzing collected data
- Developing and executing a technical action plan
- Coaching operators to enhance their skills
- Applying Lean Manufacturing techniques, including SMED...
