We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our esteemed culinary team on a luxurious ocean cruise. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite dishes that exceed the expectations of our discerning guests.

About the Role:

  • Lead a multicultural team of chefs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Develop and implement innovative menus that showcase your culinary expertise
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury cruise lines, five-star hotels, or Michelin-starred restaurants
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional culinary experiences in high-pressure environments
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of chefs in a multicultural setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to begin work in October/November 2024
  • Possession of relevant certifications, such as C1D Visa, STCW, Seamen's certification, Yellow Fever & COVID Vaccination, and Medical Certificate (advantageous)
