Job Description Summary

The Technical Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction in the EMEA region. This role requires close collaboration with Sales Managers, Global Key Account Managers, Marketing, and R&D functions to identify new sales opportunities and drive long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Expertise: Deliver and lead technical expertise in the EMEA region, driving the team to achieve business objectives and fast-track the creation of new business opportunities.
  2. Customer Projects: Lead customer projects by collaborating with technology, marketing, and sales teams to resolve and troubleshoot technical issues related to product formulation and manufacturing.
  3. Product Innovation: Drive and identify product innovation, ensuring market needs, customer expectations, and regulatory standards in collaboration with R&D and marketing teams.
  4. Training and Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs for internal teams and customers, ensuring clear communication of Elementis' products value proposition.
  5. New Business Opportunities: Identify and line-up new business opportunities in line with the business strategy, aligning internal technical expertise with customer needs to drive new project development and support sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong organizational and time management skills, experience in project planning and execution from concept to completion.

  • Business Acumen: Understanding of the commercial aspects of product development, ability to align technical initiatives with business objectives, strategic mindset to contribute to the company's overall success.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the personal care industry.
  • IT Skills: Advanced computer software capabilities like MS Office.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus.
  • Working Arrangements: Home office based.
  • Traveling Required: Up to 50%.
