Job Description:

The Commvault Sales Engineer is a critical role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical support to our direct sales and channel sales teams, focusing on securing end-user license revenue while maintaining high levels of customer and partner awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the regional Pre-Sales team to deliver technical support and enablement to our sales teams.
  • Present and demonstrate our software suite of products to clients and partners.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure success during sales campaigns and partner engagement.
  • Assist in achieving annual revenue goals in line with our regional business plan.
  • Attend meetings, training, and maintain regular communication with the regional/global Pre-Sales community.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in the software/SaaS industry, preferably in data management/security and cyber resiliency.
  • Wide range of technical knowledge of data management, including applications, cloud, compliance, disaster recovery, and storage infrastructure.
  • Exceptional internal and client-centric interpersonal skills in a commercial setting.
  • Success in taking care of enterprise clients and working on high-level deals.
  • Experience with prioritizing work and balancing workloads.
  • Fluent English and French verbal and written language skills.
