Job Title: Director of Sales

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing annual budgets and action plans, maintaining sales records, and working with department heads to maximize operating results.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the DOSM in establishing annual budget and action plans.
Maintain complete and supported records of all sales agreements, contracts, and quotes for the hotel.
Work with department heads to maximize operating results and achieve revenue goals.
Coordinate sales team activities to secure new and repeat business.
Track and analyze sales team productivity to achieve and exceed goals.
Maintain a perpetual analysis of key accounts and group movements in the region.
Have a thorough knowledge of the comp set activities in terms of sales and action plans.
Continuously update the database of contacts and local group leads.
Entertain and ensure sales team entertains potential and current customers based on business priorities.
Ensure implementation of correct booking and filing procedures.
Attend monthly credit meetings and present follow-up in a concise and efficient manner.
Define and target key accounts and develop effective solicitation with the Sales Managers.
Research and explore new markets and potential accounts for sales team to follow-up.
Ensure sales team project a warm, professional, and welcoming image.
Be demanding and critical when it comes to departmental standards.
Ensure all Departmental operations Manuals are prepared and updated annually.
Maintain an efficient and accurate filing system.
Plan and conduct meetings efficiently and results-oriented.
Keep and safeguard all contracts and financial documents.
Identify training needs and plan training programs for the Sales Team.
