In the competitive arena of Europe's automotive industry, the Customer Experience Department of BYD Europe is dedicated to excellence by developing tailored, innovative training programs that seamlessly integrate BYD's pioneering spirit with the diverse automotive culture of Europe. Your Role

As the France Regional Sales Excellence Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our customer-facing teams in France are fully equipped and skilled to deliver consistently outstanding and meaningful customer experiences.

Our main objective: Empowering European sales teams at all levels with a focus on customer service and sales targets. You will be embedded within the Go to Market (GTM) project team, actively participating in all aspects of frontline sales, promoting sales activities, sales empowerment, and various projects.

Your responsibilities will include localizing, optimizing, and delivering sales training materials and content to ensure that our digital, retail, and dealer-based sales teams possess the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors to achieve excellence at every stage of the customer journey for passenger cars, from initial lead inquiry to vehicle delivery and customer loyalty retention.

You will be expected to design and implement high-quality, impactful sales training for each of our New Energy Vehicle (NEV) models available in Europe. Training will be delivered in-person or virtually, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively develop teams and individuals to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Additionally, you will take on the role of Regional Training Partner for France, requiring close collaboration with sales, network development, and relevant teams within the National Sales Company.

As a member of the Customer Experience Department , you will report directly to the European Sales Excellence Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Tailor the EU Sales Excellence Master Plan (SEMP) and Certification Program to meet the specific needs of the French market.
  2. Conduct impactful, effective, and efficient sales and product training sessions, balancing digital, virtual, and physical learning methods.
  3. Manage the database of market dealer staff in Learning Platforms and Tools in close collaboration with the Training Coordination Team.
  4. Contribute to the development of the Training Management Program (TMP), including BYD Group introduction, brand insights, product knowledge, onboarding, sales and delivery skills, customer experience, and training validation/certification.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (Customer Experience, Content Development, Sales, Network Development, Marketing, etc.) and subject matter experts to identify training needs and swiftly implement training solutions based on SEMP.
  6. Track and document all training interventions conducted in the market and provide timely monthly training reports for centralized Europe-wide reporting.
  7. Research, evaluate, and advise on potential external agencies that may assist in development, execution, or consultancy.
  8. Provide ad-hoc performance coaching for teams and individual team members as needed.
  9. Offer necessary support to the French-speaking area.

Key Objectives

  1. Implementation and adaptation of the EU Sales Excellence Master Plan (SEMP).
  2. Validation and certification of local trainers.
  3. Tracking of training completion.
  4. Management of sales staff certification.
  5. Monitoring Customer Satisfaction Rates/NPS.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree in automotive, marketing, or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a customer-focused training or coaching role.
  3. Customer-centric mindset aligned with our mission for a sustainable future.
  4. Proficiency in French and English (additional European languages and/or Chinese are a plus).
  5. Strong coaching, training, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of positively influencing teams.
  6. Familiarity with digital tools such as Microsoft Office suite and Adobe creativity tools, with the ability to create and optimize digital and face-to-face content to support SEMP.
  7. Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving, dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with cross-border and cultural teams.
  8. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time as required, primarily within the retail network of France and for regular visits to BYD European headquarters.
