The Technical Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction in the EMEA region. Key Responsibilities- Deliver and lead technical expertise in the EMEA region, driving business objectives and creating new business opportunities.
- Lead customer projects by collaborating with technology, marketing, and sales teams to resolve technical issues and develop technical relationships with customers.
- Drive product innovation, ensuring market needs, customer expectations, and regulatory standards are met in collaboration with R&D and marketing teams.
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs for internal teams and customers, ensuring clear communication of Elementis' products value proposition.
- Identify and line-up new business opportunities in line with the business strategy, aligning internal technical expertise with customer needs.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of product formulation in the personal care sector, understanding of industry-specific regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Leadership: Ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams, strategic thinking, and vision to align technical efforts with company goals.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and sales, collaborative approach to problem-solving and project execution.
Customer Focus: Ability to provide technical support and resolve customer issues, commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality products and services.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong organizational and time management skills, experience in project planning and execution from concept to completion.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Business Acumen: Understanding of the commercial aspects of product development, ability to align technical initiatives with business objectives, strategic mindset to contribute to the company's overall success.
RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the personal care industry.
IT Skills: Advanced computer software capabilities like MS Office.
Language Skills: Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus.
Working Arrangements: Home office based.
Traveling Required: Up to 50%.
