Job Mission:

The purpose of this role is to develop long-term, sustainable relationships with our wholesale partners and drive profitable and sustainable market share growth within the Lifestyle category. This involves managing a team to achieve sales, margin, and inventory goals across the Global Business Unit (GBU).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy:
    • Determine and set budgetary needs for the GBU, including account and GBU sales targets and strategic plans for achieving those targets.
    • Work with the Sales Manager and senior team to develop and refine the country strategic plan.
    • Evolve account strategies, formalize plans, and work with the sales planning team and Sales Manager to ensure alignment with overall volume objectives.
  • Sell-Through and Inventory Management:
    • Monitor sell-out and order book continuously, using Excel to analyze data and communicate with key stakeholders.
    • Work with sales planners and account managers to support product forecasting monthly and seasonally.
    • Manage inventory and FTS replenishment to optimize stock levels.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:
    • Provide structured key account feedback on product and competitor innovations.
    • Regularly meet with wholesale partners at their headquarters in the UK and abroad.
    • Keep internal stakeholders informed of strategic account prospects and opportunities, as well as regular contact with external decision-makers.
    • Collaborate with sales leads, planners, and marketing to develop aligned goals and ensure no conflict of interests between departments.
  • Team Management:
    • Manage and motivate the sales team through clear goals, objectives, 121s, and appraisals in line with company policies.
    • Travel to New Balance EMEA headquarters and support working from home in today's new world.
