Director of Food Operations

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Food to join our team at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement food and beverage strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Lead a team of chefs, cooks, and food and beverage staff to ensure exceptional service and high-quality food products.
- Manage food and beverage budgets, inventory, and labor costs to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement marketing strategies to drive business growth.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform business decisions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, and promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, improving profitability, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and partners.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
