Join Accor Hotels, a world-renowned hospitality company, and embark on a captivating and rewarding experience working alongside passionate professionals. As a Director of Food, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations of our esteemed establishment, Raffles Udaipur.

Main Responsibilities

Business Performance

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability, analyzing sales data and market trends to inform decision-making.
  • Lead the development and execution of annual business plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and marketing departments to design and implement profit-enhancement programs, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Monitor and control food and beverage costs, labor costs, and operating supply costs, ensuring they remain within budget.

Outlet Operation

  • Conduct daily briefings with team members to ensure they are informed and aligned with operational goals and objectives.
  • Supervise team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, maintaining high standards of service and quality.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, remembering individual preferences and extending personalized service.
  • Handle guest complaints and comments professionally and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Manage all administrative tasks related to cashier and bar operations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and communication logs, ensuring seamless communication between teams.
  • Develop and implement purchasing procedures for beverages, maintaining optimal stock levels and presenting attractive beverage selections.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Team Management

  • Recruit, select, and develop team members, identifying and nurturing talent to drive business growth.
  • Conduct performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Develop and maintain staff training programs, focusing on development needs and providing new skills to meet business demands.
  • Prepare weekly staff schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and maintaining high standards of service.
  • Prepare payroll and gratuity reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Main Complexity/Critical issues in the Job

  • Respond professionally and efficiently to extraordinary requests and complaints from guests, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Accountable for outlet profitability and revenue generation, driving business growth and success.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

  • Secondary / High school education.
  • Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage.
  • Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
  • High degree of professionalism with sound human resources management and business acumen capabilities.
