Lead Financial Accounting and Tax Advisor

The Finance Division is in search of a seasoned Lead Financial Accounting and Tax Advisor committed to refining financial operations. This position entails delivering accounting assistance for complex operational accounting domains, including methodologies, closing validations, process enhancements, and internal financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in IFRS closing activities and reporting, encompassing analytical assessments and comprehensive validations
  • Support cost forecasting and budget oversight
  • Assist the line manager with specific assignments as required
  • Work collaboratively with other managerial staff
  • Guarantee robust internal accounting controls
  • Generate financial reports and corporate disclosures
  • Drive the execution of accounting enhancements and automation initiatives
  • Offer methodological guidance for business requirements across various sectors
  • Mentor and train junior team members

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in economics, administration, or accounting
  • Expertise in IFRS standards, taxation issues, and Czech VAT regulations
  • Experience in drafting financial statements and group-level reporting
  • Familiarity with Reinsurance Accounting is advantageous
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience
  • Proficient in SAP and advanced MS Office applications
  • Ability to mentor junior colleagues
  • Fluency in Czech, with proficiency in English, German, or French considered a plus
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
