We are currently seeking a Head of Financial Consolidation and Accounting Operations to join our Finance team at our Paris headquarters.

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this pivotal role encompasses the oversight of all financial processes within the organization, ensuring the integrity and reliability of these processes.

The Head will lead the Finance Operations teams, comprising approximately fifteen professionals, while also coordinating with external service providers, including consolidation firms and local accounting agencies across various regions.

This position involves managing relationships with auditors and collaborating closely with all Finance teams, particularly the Financial Control unit.

Key Responsibilities:

The Head of Financial Consolidation and Accounting Operations will be responsible for:

Accounting
  • Guaranteeing the accuracy of monthly accounting practices and the timely production of annual statutory financial statements for all Group entities.
Consolidation
  • Directing the preparation of the Group's consolidated financial statements, transitioning from local accounting standards to IFRS, and managing interactions with both local and central auditors.
Tax Compliance
  • Ensuring adherence to tax regulations across the various jurisdictions in which the Group operates, documenting tax positions, and liaising with tax advisors.
Process Optimization
  • Streamlining and enhancing processes across different group entities and facilitating the integration of new entities or regions.
Candidate Profile:
  • A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized business school (e.g., Master CCA or DSCG).
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial roles, demonstrating a strong command of financial processes and technical expertise in accounting and consolidation.
  • Experience in both audit firms and corporate environments.
  • Proficiency in IFRS standards.
  • Capability to manage complex, cross-functional projects while staying informed of technical advancements with the support of advisors and auditors, alongside hands-on involvement in routine accounting and tax operations.
  • Professional fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
  • A proactive, pragmatic, and adaptable approach essential for success in this role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams at headquarters and across various countries, as well as with external service providers.
