Job Overview
As a Compliance Officer specializing in Market Surveillance, you will be an integral part of the Surveillance team. This team is dedicated to investigating and analyzing transactions to identify potential instances of market manipulation or insider trading.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Enhancing the operational framework for generating, processing, escalating, and resolving alerts related to market monitoring, focusing on potential market abuse and compliance with existing regulations, in collaboration with the Porto monitoring team, regional experts, and IT departments;
- Conducting thorough investigations and evaluations of market integrity alerts in partnership with the Global Markets Advisory Monitoring and Compliance team;
- Overseeing the training and professional development of the Monitoring Analyst based in Porto, in conjunction with local management;
- Maintaining a comprehensive Market Abuse Risk Assessment to prioritize surveillance initiatives and refine surveillance systems and policies.
In your role as a Market Surveillance Compliance Officer, you will contribute to optimizing the operational system for market surveillance to effectively identify potential regulatory breaches.
You will work within an international framework, collaborating with a community of experts who prioritize excellence, impact, and collective efforts in all endeavors.
