Position Overview

Delta EMEA – Component Business Group (CPBG) is seeking a Sales Manager based in France/Italy with a robust technical background to join our automotive division. The Sales Manager will oversee business development initiatives and drive sales revenue growth for power magnetics and current sensing solutions within designated automotive accounts.

This role necessitates a proven track record in key account management, particularly within the automotive ECU and/or electrification (xEV) sectors. We are in search of candidates who possess analytical skills and a process-oriented approach to problem-solving, along with a self-motivated attitude, strong commitment, and excellent communication abilities in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team setting.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and implement strategic business plans to facilitate accelerated sales growth in targeted automotive Tier-1 and/or OEM accounts. Serve as the primary contact in Germany for all commercial activities, coordinating technical, logistical, and quality discussions with key stakeholders. Maintain clear and open communication, acting as the liaison between French customers, Business Units (BU), and factories in Asia. Collaborate closely with Product and Marketing teams to analyze the competitive landscape and execute strategic actions to enhance the company's market position in France. Conduct regular business reviews and product roadmap update meetings with existing customers. Identify key contacts and arrange product introduction meetings with prospective customers. Report on sales activities and revenue forecasts to EMEA and BU Management on a monthly and semi-annual basis. Support cross Business Group / Business Unit accounts and engage in cross-selling initiatives.

Required Qualifications

MS or BS degree in engineering or related fields relevant to power electronics. A minimum of 3 years of successful key account management experience in the automotive component sector. At least 3 years of experience in an international business environment. Strong capability to manage commercial and technical discussions. Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Exceptional ability to organize and prioritize multiple accounts and tasks. Independent, highly self-driven, and respectful of schedules and timelines. Open-minded, adaptable, and extroverted personality. Proficient in spoken and written English and French; knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is advantageous. EU citizenship or permanent residency in France/Italy. Possession of a driver's license, with frequent travel in Europe (~30%) and occasional trips to Asia required.
