Position Overview
We are seeking an Airport Operations Duty Supervisor to oversee and manage flight-handling processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that all activities related to flight editing, passenger check-in, transfers, and boarding are executed with excellence. The primary objective is to guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction and timely departures.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise passenger and aircraft handling to adhere to established safety and security protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all operational standards set by the airline during shifts.
- Effectively manage shift personnel to optimize workforce utilization while maintaining high morale and discipline.
- Allocate resources and manpower efficiently within airport operations.
- Conduct regular checks to uphold service quality standards.
- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints in collaboration with various departments, including Customer Relations.
- Coordinate ramp handling operations with Ground Handling Agents, catering services, fueling, maintenance, cargo, and crew to facilitate timely departures.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Experience in an airline or reputable Ground Handling Operations at a supervisory level.
- Strong background in Airport or Ground Handling Operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of Conditions of Carriage and International Civil Aviation Safety and Security Procedures as per ICAO and IATA guidelines.
- Thorough knowledge of airport operations, including passenger and baggage handling, weight and balance, and regulations concerning dangerous goods.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and delivery.
- Legal authorization to live and work in the designated location.
