About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our Global Trade and Receivables Finance team at HSBC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving key client relationships and coordinating sales activity in the respective countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for structuring and selling highly customized cross-border GTRF products, services, and consultative solutions to clients to generate group-wide income and enhance group relationships.
  • Maintain strong awareness of competitor, economic, political, and regulatory environments impacting the business.
  • Deliver ambitious targets aiming to double the size of the revenues by 2025.
  • Actively drive effective wallet planning and pro-active sourcing of new sales business across Public Sector, Government Related Entities, Insurance, and Funds sectors.
  • Drive the acquisition of new customer mandates and complex deals from existing and New to Bank/New to Trade clients.
  • Engage with Relationship Bankers on client calls and account planning sessions to deliver a best-of-class client experience for key strategic and sensitive relationships.
  • Accountability of key strategic relationships and ability to deliver impact in front of Senior Executives.
  • Coaching, sharing, and mentoring sales and service teams with necessary industry and regulatory knowledge.
  • Strategize and commercialize our ambition for growing the FIG business.
  • Profitability - Embed distribution and Increase Returns.
  • Digitization of FI trade.
