Thus, we are seeking a Group Head of Business Strategy for Middle Market & Large Account to establish priorities, bring advanced sales expertise tailored to these segments, and offer strategic and operational support to our Business Lines and Countries.

In this role, you will report to the Sales & Marketing Operations Group Director and be an integral part of the newly formed Strategy, Growth & Transformation Department.

At Edenred, we prioritize execution and aim to create positive impacts through our actions. This position requires a strong operational mindset coupled with a strategic vision.

While this role does not involve direct reports, you will need to be self-sufficient and develop materials independently.

Although you will not directly manage sales personnel, your expertise will support our Middle Market and Large Account Directors and Managers in various countries, enabling them to accelerate growth and achieve high performance levels. Your responsibilities will encompass hunting, farming, and retention activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define the overarching Sales Strategy and Priorities for Middle Market and Large Accounts.
  • Provide insightful guidance to our Sales Directors to enhance their sales organization.
  • Assist in the development of budget plans, including hunting, farming, and retention strategies.
  • Elevate our Middle Managers through personalized coaching.
  • Participate in recruitment processes to attract top-tier Middle Manager talent.
  • Advise Sales Directors on optimizing compensation plans to enhance sales motivation.
  • Analyze existing sales processes and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Support countries in creating operational dashboards and reporting mechanisms to drive activity.
  • Identify and expand new lead sources dedicated to Middle Market and Large Account segments.
  • Discover and implement new sales tools to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Refine client portfolio management to maximize revenue and relationship levels.
  • Regularly assess and report on the performance of Middle Market and Large Account channels, challenging profitability metrics (ROI, KPIs).
  • Ensure that sales representatives master social selling techniques and leverage them effectively.
  • Stay abreast of the latest sales trends and share relevant insights with the Middle Market and Large Account communities.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Over 7 years of consulting experience with a strong sales background.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and performance improvement initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales effectiveness levers and current trends.
  • Proficient in sales techniques and tools (Salesforce), with a passion for sales and the art of selling.
  • Experience in designing and executing impactful sales campaigns.
  • High maturity level to evaluate skills, attitudes, and potential of individuals.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, structured thinking, and data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to simplify complex subjects and present them clearly.
  • Creative, autonomous, adaptable, enthusiastic, and dynamic.
  • Effective in coaching and influencing individuals in a transversal/matrix environment.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
