We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Freelance Country Experts for France, Denmark, Canada, Türkiye, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, India, or Thailand.
As a Freelance Country Expert, you will play a vital role in providing geopolitical intelligence and developing detailed donor profiles for our clients – leading multilateral development banks operating globally.
Your Responsibilities- Geopolitical Intelligence/Insights:
- Monthly monitoring of key geopolitical trends and relevant policy updates in your designated market.
- Insights on foreign policy issues related to multilateralism, MDBs, and Asia from your market perspective.
- Updates on significant events, initiatives, and developments within the global development landscape.
- Donor Profile Development:
- Prepare a comprehensive donor profile for your assigned market. This includes context setting, key political moments, influential stakeholders and platforms for engagement, ODA trends, relevant policy updates and priorities, and budget allocation analysis (based on a provided template and with support from SEEK).
- Engage in briefing calls with the client to answer follow-up questions and provide further insights.
We are looking for individuals with:
- A deep understanding of global development issues and trends.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent communication and writing abilities in English.
- Experience working with international organizations or in the development sector is highly desirable.
