**Job Overview:**


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consumer Care Business Development Manager to join our team in EMEA. This role will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the Consumer Care segment.


About the Role:


This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in sales, account management, and business development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in growing revenue and developing new business opportunities.


The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers and stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth.


About You:


To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of the consumer care market, and the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.


You will also need to have a solid technical knowledge of hydrocolloid functionality related to Consumer Care application segments and be able to develop value propositions, selling opportunities, and new customer/segment prospecting.


Requirements:



  • A Chemical Engineering or Industrial Science degree ideally combined with a relevant Business degree
  • More than 5 years of experience in R&D, Technical Services/Support or Account Management functions within the Consumer & Industrials products
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to approach opportunities and problems with process and have a bias for facts and analysis
  • Ability to drive change in an agile manner and get people behind you
  • Willingness to be creative and 'think outside the box'
  • Project Management skills (planning, prioritization, deadline and result oriented)
  • Business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at multiple levels internally and with customers and distributors
  • Ability to work in a matrix-organization as a good team player
  • Competent with financial tools and related Business analysis
  • Excellent communication (listening & speaking) and presentation skills, fluent in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experienced user of a CRM-related software
  • Ability to travel (in periods intensively) to fulfil the needs of the role (approximately 30-40% of work time)

Location: Germany, Denmark, France, UK, Italy with the possibility to remote work.


Note: The position is not open for visa sponsorship and applicants must have a work permit for the respective country.


The estimated salary for this role is around €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
