As a distinguished member of our culinary team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced executive chef, inspiring and leading a dynamic group of professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative executive sous chef to join our team at Pullman Bunker Bay Resort, a 5-star luxury resort nestled in the stunning Margaret River Region of Western Australia.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the executive chef in leading and motivating the kitchen team to achieve high standards of quality and service.
- Ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the kitchen, maintaining high levels of productivity and controlling costs.
- Maintaining the highest standards of quality in all food products and services delivered to our guests.
- Reviewing and implementing menu changes to ensure they are competitive and appealing to our guests.
- Developing and training junior staff members to enhance their skills and career progression.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on management style.
- Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively.
- Computer literacy and administration skills, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and reports.
