Key Account Manager - Government

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team in Germany. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise products and services to existing and new accounts in the public sector.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with key decision makers and end customers in the public sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the converged portfolio and cloud solutions.
  • Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts in line with business objectives.
  • Implement sales strategies defined by sales management to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Extend existing relationships with partners and end customers to maximize value delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education to degree level in Sales Management or engineering.
  • Demonstrate track record of successful sales in Voice/Data/Networking/Cloud solutions with public accounts.
  • At least 2 years expertise and experience in dealing with public accounts at IT manager, senior IT Level and C-levels.
  • Understanding of the market and culture in the area of federal authorities.
  • Knowledge of the strategic orientation of the federal authorities in the field of communication and network solutions.
  • Completed formal training in Sales techniques, especially in acquisition skills.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
