The People & Culture Technology Lead

The People & Culture Technology Lead is accountable for the execution of our global People & Culture Technology initiatives across multiple regions (Northern Europe Scope: France, UK, Netherlands, Norway, Germany) and spearheads the adoption of transformative changes. Acting as a trusted advisor to People & Culture stakeholders, this role collaborates with the People & Culture Technology Product Owners to effectively support operational execution of processes and data management within the global People & Culture Technology framework. Technip Energies is on a transformative journey, having implemented global People & Culture Technology solutions such as Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) and ServiceNow, while still managing some local payroll and HR systems. The focus now is to enhance the technological landscape and improve user experience and process efficiency. This position plays a pivotal role in this journey for the Northern Europe region.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the People & Culture Technology specialists within the local team (approximately 5 individuals in France) and maintain close collaboration with contributors in other regions.

- Facilitate and promote the adoption of global People & Culture Technology solutions among end users in the designated countries.

- Implement systematic and established change management strategies (including training and communication), utilizing knowledge, tools, and resources to maximize adoption and minimize operational disruptions.

- Work in close partnership with the People & Culture Technology Product Owners to deliver optimal support services to end users.

- Maintain awareness of the local People & Culture Technology landscape in the relevant countries and serve as the primary contact for any changes, enhancements, or issues.

- Collaborate with local People & Culture experts to ensure the completeness, consistency, accuracy, and timely updates of people data in both local and global People & Culture Technology systems.

- Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction, organizational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Interactions:

- Internally: People & Culture Technology specialists (the team reporting to this role), other People & Culture Technology specialists in different geographical areas, Global People & Culture Technology Product Owners, People & Culture Leadership Team, People & Culture Community, Communication, IDS & Data Office, Global Business Services HR Service Delivery, and Global Business Services IDS and Sourcing & Procurement.

- Externally: external service providers, peers from other organizations, and expert communities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A blend of People & Culture Technology expertise and business insight.
  • Experience in a People & Culture Technology environment with Oracle & ServiceNow; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
  • A mindset focused on enhancing employee experience.
  • Proven experience in team management.
  • A proactive self-starter with strong project management capabilities and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with large, cross-functional, multicultural, and virtual teams across different time zones.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire stakeholders to adopt best practices, simplification, harmonization, and automation.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with Scrum methodology.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in HR Technologies, preferably within a multinational context.
