The Team:
As a Senior Value Engineer , you will be part of our Value Engineering team, which plays a crucial role within the broader Value Engineering organization at Celonis. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, assisting clients in achieving their strategic objectives and realizing substantial value through the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. You will oversee the entire value journey for our clients, which includes onboarding, expansion, adoption, and renewal. Your responsibilities will involve translating client goals into value assessments or proof-of-value initiatives, creating tailored Celonis business cases and demonstrations, facilitating value workshops, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver impactful results and establish long-term partnerships.
The Role:
You will lead our mission of driving data-centric business transformation alongside our clients. Collaborating closely with the Celonis Sales Teams, you will manage the complete value journey for our clients. As a trusted advisor, you will help them achieve their strategic goals and unlock significant value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. Working with our partners and Celonis Services, you will create measurable business impacts across various processes and sectors, accelerating platform adoption. Your role will combine deep industry knowledge with proven consulting skills and strong analytical capabilities at one of the fastest-growing tech firms worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify & Frame Value
Discover and translate clients' strategic priorities into impactful Celonis use cases. Develop demonstrations and business cases utilizing industry benchmarks and best practices to attract new clients. Conduct Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects and communicate the value potential and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.Realize Value
Lead business value workshops and utilize Celonis to pinpoint and qualify opportunities for process improvement. Identify enhancement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. Present outcomes and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.Scale Value
Oversee the complete customer value journey, including onboarding, expansion, adoption, and renewal. Develop a strategic expansion roadmap for clients, embedding the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform as a key business transformation tool within their organization, thereby driving adoption and growth. Provide insights to our product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and applications based on emerging use cases.Required Qualifications:
Customer Value Focus: Several years of experience in an analytical role aimed at demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, process improvement, and relevant software deployment. Experience in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT/Management Consulting is preferred. Industry Knowledge: Expertise in the Oil & Gas sector with the ability to grasp industry trends and strategic opportunities. Data and IT Proficiency: Familiarity with SQL or other programming languages such as Python or R, along with experience in utilizing or developing dashboards, applications, and action flows. Project Management Skills: Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines, while overseeing multiple projects across various stages of the value journey. Executive Communication: Proven ability to prepare and present (value) roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally, with excellent communication skills in English and French. Business Domain Expertise: In-depth understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain domain, as well as strategic transformation initiatives. Educational Background: Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.What We Offer:
