In line with our growth strategy, we are seeking a Strategic Engagement Manager to enhance our Corporate Strategy team.
MissionAs consultants specializing in corporate strategy, our engagements typically revolve around a core set of internal strategic initiatives for our clients:
- Evaluating and analyzing inorganic growth opportunities (e.g., target screening, due diligence, strategic reviews, M&A support);
- Product development and benchmarking (enhancing and/or redesigning investment processes, adapting products for new markets and channels).
To bolster our growth, we are in search of a high-caliber candidate who will:
- Collaborate and lead within Indefi as a dedicated and accountable team player;
- Leverage prior experience and established industry knowledge to become the internal expert on specific subject matters;
- Advocate for the implications of strategy implementation across asset management organizations;
- Serve as an internal role model and facilitate the training of junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Delivery
- Spearhead strategic engagements for top-tier asset managers globally by formulating initial hypotheses, developing recommendations, and presenting findings to leadership teams.
- Ensure that outputs meet the highest standards and consistently surpass client expectations.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, both formally (project feedback, semi-annual reviews) and informally (project brainstorming sessions, team-wide trainings, one-on-one mentoring), to cultivate Indefi's future leaders.
2. Business Growth and Brand Development
- All leadership team members are expected to play a pivotal role in expanding and growing the business. As a Strategic Engagement Manager, the primary focus will be on:
- Assisting Partners in their business development initiatives, both in Europe and globally.
- Contributing to the firm’s thought leadership and brand-building efforts (including media engagements and conferences).

Required qualifications include:
- Graduation from a top-tier business or engineering school/university;
- Relevant prior work experience (2+ years) in strategy consulting firms, strategy divisions, or M&A departments of international groups, investment banks, asset management, or private equity firms;
- Full fluency in English. Proficiency in French or other European languages is advantageous.
