Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Developer to join our Infrastructure team, focusing on the wastewater segment. As a key local resource, you will represent Imerys Infrastructure across all markets, working closely with our dedicated Infrastructure Team.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute commercial plans to drive business growth in the wastewater segment.
  2. Prepare and review sales performance against targets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  3. Support the development and execution of commercial roadmaps for Infrastructure Solutions segments.
  4. Contribute to Imerys Portfolio building by identifying new product ideas and opportunities.
  5. Execute and monitor commercial plans, identifying sales development opportunities and capturing them across multiple sectors.
  6. Apply effective sales and development strategies, ensuring analysis and action plans are in place.
  7. Negotiate contracts with customers, working with the legal department to prepare and manage contract follow-up.
  8. Implement actions requested by Customers through visit reports and manage market intelligence through the CRM tool.
  9. Coordinate activities with Technical Support for Infrastructure projects and markets, ensuring the relevant impact of technical presentations and job site trials.
  10. Represent Imerys in front of relevant wastewater Associations.
Competencies and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with B2P experience in the Construction & Infrastructure field, ideally with 10+ years of experience in Specification Selling toward Public and Private sectors in the wastewater segment. Proven track record in Sales & Account Management or similar customer-facing roles, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with various stakeholders.

The position requires a good understanding of the Business-to-Project infrastructure ecosystem and ways to penetrate the market. Self-motivated, autonomous, and willing to collaborate with peers in a remote manner, with a willingness to travel up to 60% per week.

Language skills: French, English, (Flemish or German could be a plus).
