Regional Ethics and Compliance Leader

CMA CGM Group is seeking a highly skilled Regional Ethics and Compliance Manager to fill a key role in our Ethics and Compliance Department. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of ethics and integrity within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic guidance in the deployment of the Group's values and ethics and compliance program in the designated regions.
- Compliance Promotion: Actively promote the Group Code of ethics, Anticorruption code, Speak up system, and related policies and procedures.
- Risk Management: Maintain up-to-date risk maps for the scope of activities and implement the Group's annual ethics and compliance action plan.
- Policy Development: Develop and update compliance policies and application procedures.
- Third-Party Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence on third parties with the support of local business.
- Compliance Assessments: Conduct assessment interviews, propose pragmatic recommendations, prepare reports, and ensure that corrective action plans are defined and implemented.
- Communication and Training: Develop and implement a communication strategy and compliance training programs to educate employees in the designated regions.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Supervise and coordinate the management of reports, with appropriate follow-up, and supervise the regulatory monitoring system at regional level.
- Regulatory Filings: Manage ongoing regulatory filings, ad hoc regulatory requests, and regulatory controls.
- Compliance Risk Assessments: Conduct compliance risk assessments for third parties located in the regions.
- Program Evaluation: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the Program by measuring and monitoring compliance activity and trends.
- Reputation Management: Build CMA CGM's Group external reputation in the designated regions relating to its commitment to a culture of compliance.
- Education: Graduate in law, compliance, or economics.
- Experience: 5-8 years' experience in a compliance function in a multinational, a law firm, or a Big Four.
- Skills: Strong listening skills, effective communication, strong influencing skills, curious, methodical, problem-solving oriented, and excellent writing skills.
- Language: Fluent written and spoken English and French.
Specialization in anti-corruption is a plus, and a background in Legal, Compliance, or internal audit is also desirable.
Based in Paris or Marseille with travels to consider. Not a full remote job.
