Purpose of the Role:
As a member of our expanding advisory team, you will have the opportunity to engage in Energy Transition, Consulting, and Digital services, alongside traditional upstream and downstream markets. This position is part of the engineering team, collaborating with a global network of professionals. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive analyses of complex energy systems and develop methodologies and tools aimed at enhancing engineering and delivery processes. Your contributions will be crucial in supporting our clients' strategic decisions, optimizing the energy sector, and advancing towards net-zero carbon solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engineering analyses to identify optimal solutions based on client requirements and effectively communicate these findings through technical reports and presentations.
- Perform techno-economic evaluations for energy projects across various sectors, including upstream, mid-stream, downstream, and renewables.
- Explore key Energy Transition topics such as Hydrogen, CCUS, Ammonia, Biofuels, and biowaste.
- Contribute to the development of innovative digital tools that enhance our performance and provide added value to clients.
- Engage in consulting activities from greenfield projects to mature assets.
- Compile results and methodologies into comprehensive deliverables.
- Collaborate with consulting, engineering, business, and digital teams, as well as external partners.
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of a master's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Industry experience, preferably with a background in front-end studies within a consultancy, design house, engineering contractor, or operator environment.
- Proficiency in relevant technical process engineering software.
- A strong digital aptitude.
- Understanding of project economics.
- Experience in energy transition fields.
- Operational support experience.
- Experience working in a client-focused environment.
The candidate must demonstrate the following competencies:
- Fluency in English is essential, as the role involves significant interaction with international offices and clients (minimum TOIEC level 850).
- French language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience in project management.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications.
- Excellent report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convey engineering concepts clearly and effectively.
Working Conditions:
This role operates within a flexible hybrid model, allowing for a blend of office and remote work. Occasional regional travel may be required for project initiation and client relationship building.
