Business Development Lawyer for Automotive Contracts

At Faurecia, we are seeking a seasoned Sales and Programs Attorney to join our global legal team.
We are a leading technology company in the automotive industry, committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance mobility. As a Sales and Programs Attorney, you will play a crucial role in shaping our business strategy and driving growth through effective contract negotiations and management.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the negotiation and review of Customer General Terms and Conditions, Requests for Proposal, handbooks, manuals, and correspondence;
- Assist in managing claims, letters, disputes, and commercial matters with Customers;
- Develop and deliver regular training and outreach campaigns to sales, management, and program personnel;
- Maintain accurate records and conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential issues;
- Collaborate with Business Groups, Regional Counsel, and Customer Business Units to assess risk and develop mitigation plans;
In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Regional and Business Group Counsel, Vice President/Global Legal Regions, Global and Regional Customer Account Managers, and Sales and Commercial Support Organization.
RequirementsTo succeed as a Sales and Programs Attorney, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of legal experience in either a law firm or a company, preferably in the industrial sector;
- Strong track record of performance and legal analysis, with technical and functional skills on the legal field driving success and credibility;
- Ability to communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing, liaising and influencing at all levels and across different areas of business;
- Results-oriented approach, with a pragmatic mindset, seeing the broader picture and finding resolution while minimizing risk;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Fluent English language skills;
