Nuvei, a leading Canadian fintech company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Sales Southern Europe to lead and build a team dedicated to delivering new business, expanding our local footprint, and managing teams in all countries.

This role is accountable for the overall sales performance, including achieving targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives aligned to the overall Nuvei business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute robust strategies to maximize revenue streams and achieve ambitious financial targets through alignment of the sales organization's objectives with the firm's business strategy.
  • Provide strong and focused leadership to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting collaboration within a multicultural environment.
  • Build and foster teamwork across key internal partnerships to deliver on the customer experience and overall sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree required, Masters or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading sales and relationship management teams.
  • 10+ years' experience in a leadership role in the payments industry and leadership experience in senior management positions.
  • English (written and spoken) is the primary language used, as work colleagues, clients, and strategic suppliers are geographically dispersed.
