Ecolab is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Manager to join our commercial Pest Control Sales team, working across various regions to build and grow profitable client relationships with commercial businesses. As a Sales Development Manager, you will drive sales and attain budget goals by leveraging prospecting, cold calling, and networking skills to target restaurants, hospitals, hotels, retailers, food and beverage plants, schools, and nursing homes to offer the most effective B2B pest elimination programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and obtain customers to achieve annual new business sales goals
  • Discover sales opportunities and implement sales strategies
  • Partner with our service team, corporate account team, and inter-company partners to implement best practices to solve customer's pest problems
  • Build rapport and cultivate relationships with customers and co-workers through professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
  • Provide outstanding customer service by leading and educating customers throughout the sales process
  • Keep informed of Ecolab product/service offerings and industry conditions to enhance successful customer outcomes
  • Maintain an accurate sales funnel detailing each account from prospecting through the supporting phase
  • Adhere to company OHS policies, procedures, and rules and follow safe work practices
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulatory and corporate standards

Position Details:

  • Candidate must reside in the specified areas
  • Route territory will include the specified areas
  • Work week and shift: DETAILS (including weekend rotation, if applicable)
  • Compensation package offered: DETAILS

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable record
  • Experience working in B2B commercial sales or experience working at Ecolab
  • Experience solving problems to determine customer solutions
  • Negotiation experience
  • Experience presenting information to customers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service and/or sales development experience
  • Ability to sell value-added products to existing customers
  • Previous pest elimination industry or route experience preferred
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload with limited supervision, field work experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven relationship management and consulting skills
  • Strong self-motivation & drive for results
