Job Summary
Microchip Technology is seeking a part-time Senior Administration Office Manager to ensure effective office operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining administrative systems, managing budgets, and overseeing daily office activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and manage administrative operations of the office.
  2. Greet external visitors at reception.
  3. Manage site events, including catering.
  4. Assist HR with recruiting, onboarding, and training of administrative staff.
  5. Manage office budgets and expenses, including supplies, equipment, and services.
  6. Interface and manage suppliers for local office needs.
  7. Oversee facility management, including maintenance, space planning, and ensuring safety of the physical premises.
  8. Meet with building owner and handle all requests or needs for building maintenance.
  9. Prepare and present reports on administrative progress and goals.
  10. Lead, mentor, and motivate the administrative team to achieve high performance.
  11. Obtain local quotes for employees who have company automobiles and work with HR/Finance for approval.
  12. Receiving and preparation of invoices by postal mail.
  13. Delivery of documents by or to employees.
  14. Documentation archiving. Company car.
  15. Assistance to sales.


Requirements/Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in English and French.
  3. Ten or more years of experience as an Administration Manager, Office Manager, or similar role.
  4. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  5. Proficiency in office management software like MS Office and administrative systems.
  6. Knowledge of financial and facilities management principles.
  7. An analytical mind with problem-solving skills.
  8. Attention to detail and a high level of discretion and confidentiality.


Preferred Skills:
  1. Prior work experience in the microelectronics environment is a plus.
  2. Professional certification in administrative management.
  3. Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  4. Familiarity with data analysis and performance metrics.
  5. Bilingual in English and French.
  6. Great adaptability and versatility.


Duration of Contract:
The duration of the contract is 3 days of work, renewable.
