At OMICRON electronics, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Belgium. As a key member of our sales support team, you will play a vital role in assisting our international customers with all matters, from pre-sales to after-sales support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to our international customers.
  • Working closely with our Area Sales Managers and Application Engineers to strengthen and expand our customer relationships.
  • Creating quotations, preparing public tenders, and ensuring smooth processes by taking care of data entry.
  • Participating in customer events and trade fairs, supporting our sales team on-site.
  • Handling the organization of customer training.
  • Preparing information for further sales measures and ensuring proper data maintenance in our CRM system Lead Management.
  • Performing general office management tasks.
  • Undertaking some travel within Europe.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of commercial education and several years of experience with sales support activities.
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to interact with customers.
  • Interest in innovation and motivation to acquire basic technical knowledge to better understand our products and customer structure.
  • Confident telephone manner and good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, experience in the use of data bases (CRM and ERP) would be an advantage.
  • Excellent command of English and French, Dutch would be a plus.
