Customer Support Specialist

At OMICRON electronics, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Belgium. As a key member of our sales support team, you will play a vital role in assisting our international customers with all matters, from pre-sales to after-sales support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to our international customers.
- Working closely with our Area Sales Managers and Application Engineers to strengthen and expand our customer relationships.
- Creating quotations, preparing public tenders, and ensuring smooth processes by taking care of data entry.
- Participating in customer events and trade fairs, supporting our sales team on-site.
- Handling the organization of customer training.
- Preparing information for further sales measures and ensuring proper data maintenance in our CRM system Lead Management.
- Performing general office management tasks.
- Undertaking some travel within Europe.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of commercial education and several years of experience with sales support activities.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to interact with customers.
- Interest in innovation and motivation to acquire basic technical knowledge to better understand our products and customer structure.
- Confident telephone manner and good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, experience in the use of data bases (CRM and ERP) would be an advantage.
- Excellent command of English and French, Dutch would be a plus.
