Job Title: Shift Leader

Accor is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, maintaining high hygiene standards, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize store operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all storage areas, including shelves and chillers.
  • Assist with vegetable receiving and sanitize vegetables and fruits for storage.
  • Arrange vegetables properly in designated chillers, following standard procedures.
  • Monitor storage temperatures of chillers, freezers, and dry store, and record temperature readings diligently.
  • Communicate any temperature variations to the Engineering Department and Department Head.
  • Adhere to HACCP procedures and policies to ensure food safety.
  • Assist in maintaining FIFO and FIFEO inventory systems.
  • Issue food items to F&B outlets and kitchens based on approved requests from the Executive Chef.
  • Report activities and any issues to the BOH Manager/Stewarding Department Head.
Generic Aspects on Hygiene/Personal Safety/Environment/Confidentiality:
  • Ensure proper care of all equipment and furniture entrusted for Heartists use.
  • Be well-familiar with the hotel's policies and procedures, physical layout, and emergency procedures.
  • Know safety regulations and ensure their application to ensure the safety of people and property.
  • Respect and ensure respect of the hotel's commitments to the Environment Charter of Sustainability program.
  • Understand and adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Heartists Handbook and Hotel's policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
  • Ensure confidential records and information are properly safeguarded.
  • Do not disclose financial information or other confidential information.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
  • Good organizational skills are essential.
