Business Development Manager Job Description

InterSystems is seeking a proactive and achievement-oriented Business Development Manager Junior to execute a strategy designed to raise awareness of our healthcare-centric products and solutions capability and develop new business.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning new name business and developing successful partner relationships with a long-term view. They will be responsible for discovering, qualifying, and developing opportunities for InterSystems TrakCare, HealthShare, and IRIS for Health.

The Business Development Manager Junior will work closely with the Healthcare Sales Manager to identify strategic and tactical opportunities, detailing the problems to be solved. They will act as the principal liaison between InterSystems and customers, developing and enhancing business relationships by providing high levels of service and encouraging contact with accounts at various organizational levels.

The successful candidate will have excellent listening, written, and communication skills, as well as the ability to present effectively at management level. They will be a thorough, structured, analytical person who is used to engaging in the details of their business.
