Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Office Team Member to join our team at Mercure Bedford Centre Hotel. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the Front Office department to ensure service standards are followed.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest requests and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Assist in conducting training for Front Office employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent service.
  • Take every opportunity to promote special promotions and facilities available within the hotel.
  • Ensure department policies and procedures are understood by all employees and observed in tasks performed.
  • Implement the Accor values and customer vision to 'Offer the Best Service to Our Customers'.

Requirements:

  • Experience in working in Front Office Reception within a hotel is essential.
  • Passion for Customer Service and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Great Communication Skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Knowledge of Opera is required.
  • Problem Solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Friendly and Approachable demeanor, with a warm and welcoming attitude.
