BIM Manager - Job Overview

As a BIM Manager in the Installation & Piping Discipline of the Engineering & Construction Department, you will play a pivotal role in various water treatment initiatives. Acting as the BIM liaison for E&C Water, you will engage with clients, partners, and other stakeholders within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and convert the objectives and specifications of proposals, contracts, or clients into BIM goals and requirements.
  • Establish BIM applications, workflows, modeling scope, model organization, and levels of detail.
  • Advise on essential software tools, oversee configurations, and schedule software updates.
  • Serve as the primary BIM contact for engineering teams.
  • Draft and validate BIM proposal and execution protocols.
  • Create tools to monitor BIM workflows (performance metrics, progress tracking, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to BIM standards and report compliance.
  • Develop technical support solutions for software and hardware issues.
  • Keep abreast of technological advancements and anticipate new regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Background in engineering or architecture.
  • A minimum of 5 years of BIM experience in engineering environments.
  • Strong project management capabilities in an industrial setting (design/construction/maintenance), preferably in water treatment.
  • Passion for digital innovation and transformation.
  • Focus on deadlines and budget management.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English for BIM discussions and collaboration with international partners.
  • Knowledge in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Hydraulics, Equipment & Process.
  • Expertise in modeling, synthesis, and collaboration software (Revit, E3D, Dynamo, AutoCAD, Navisworks, collaborative platforms, etc.).
