About UCD
UCD, or Unités Compactes Degrémont, is a business unit of SUEZ that operates on five continents. Our mission is to provide compact, decentralized water treatment solutions and equipment for water treatment plants.
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in UCD. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from initial commercial discussions to final delivery, including financial, legal, commercial, and technical aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in tender responses, working closely with UCD's commercial team or directly with clients.
- Develop and submit tender responses, including technical, legal, and financial components.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Manage project risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with the production department to ensure timely project delivery.
- Meet project financial targets and objectives.
- Obtain client acceptance and ensure timely payment.
- Ensure adherence to UCD's business processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with SUEZ's HSE and ethics policies.
Additional Responsibilities
- Host client visits and inspections at our facilities or on-site.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients, potentially becoming a Key Account Manager for loyal clients.
- Contribute to market feedback and innovation initiatives.
- Participate in business development and innovation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in water treatment or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to different cultural contexts.
- Autonomy and organizational skills.
- Strong client focus and ability to develop new business opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to analyze complex situations.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard business tools.
