Job Title: Global Sales and Business Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sales and Business Development Expert to join our team at HP Development Company, L.P. in Meudon, France.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to take on a challenging role that will require strategic direction, market analysis, and business development skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in partner-level sales and be able to grow HP's business and share of business by enabling strategic relationships with partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides Strategic Direction and Input: Provides strategic direction and input on the overall partner strategy, overall landscape, growth plans, and associated programs to achieve the desired outcomes as dictated by company strategic priorities.
  • Grows HP Business: Grows HP business and HP's share of business by enabling strategic relationships with partners. Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance, recommends the go-forward strategy to address performance gaps.
  • Leads Market-Level Projects: Leads market-level projects and identifies trends and opportunities for business leaders.
  • Acts as Key Advisor: Acts as a key advisor to countries management in influencing the strategic direction of the consumer segment.
  • Develops Business Plans: Develops recommendation from complex data and business analyses and formulates them into business plans.
  • Achieves Quota: Achieves assigned quota for HP products, services, and software.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree: Bachelor degree; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • Selling Experience: Typically, 12+ years or more of selling experience at partner level.
  • Retail Sales Experience: Retail sales experience is preferred.
  • Multi-Country Experience: Multi-country experience is preferred.
  • Market and Hub Experience: Market and hub experience is preferred.
  • Subject Matter Knowledge: Recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge: sales, technology, business management, financial principles, HP strategy & programs.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Capable of leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization in order to influence efficiency and results towards common goals.
  • Independent Judgment: Exercising independent judgment and taking initiative on developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving objectives.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business & financial acumen. Deep understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel. Dimensions include competitive positioning and business models.
  • HP Products Knowledge: Deep understanding of HP's products, software, and services. Able to communicate the strengths of HP's offerings relative to competition and overcome objections.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to present and explain benefits to partners/sales teams. Able to communicate effectively across multiple levels in HP and the industry.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is €120,000 - €150,000 per year, depending on experience.
