The Microsoft Innovation Hub serves as a premier facility designed to assist enterprise clients in addressing their business challenges. We develop cutting-edge cross-workload solutions through comprehensive technical engagements. Our senior architects guide clients in realizing the potential of our offerings, facilitating a range of highly customized engagements that can span single or multiple days.

As a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect within the Microsoft Innovation Hub, you will be at the leading edge of Microsoft's innovations, aiding clients in formulating and executing a vision and strategy for their digital transformation. You will play a crucial role in their transformation journey, encouraging innovative thinking and assisting them in harnessing the advantages of our Cloud services. Being part of a global network of exceptional professionals, you will have access to the latest technologies and resources, with dedicated time and budget to evolve as a globally recognized technical leader. This position is exclusively onsite.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Deliver Client Engagements:** Based at your designated facility, you will prepare and execute technical engagements for enterprise clients. These engagements encompass Business envisioning, Solution envisioning, Architecture design, Rapid prototyping, and Hackathons. You will adopt a holistic approach to leverage capabilities across the entire Microsoft cloud ecosystem, collaborating with account teams to identify optimal engagements that maximize client benefits and expedite deal success.
  • **Design Solutions:** Utilize your technical expertise, architectural methodologies, and consultancy skills to influence clients' technical decisions in favor of Microsoft solutions and cloud services.
  • **Establish Vision:** Leverage your technical acumen to present clients with an inspiring digital vision that spans all Microsoft workloads, while also delving deeper into your core technology specialization. You will bring this digital vision to life by employing the architectural skills of yourself and your colleagues to deliver a comprehensive solution.
  • **Develop Strategy:** Translate the agreed-upon client vision into a strategic implementation plan, addressing concerns, eliminating technical obstacles, and validating a robust business case for investment. Collaborate with the client, broader account team resources, and partners to orchestrate a roadmap for implementation.
  • **Security Expertise:** Advise business and technical decision-makers on enhancing compliance, mitigating risks, and generating business value through the Microsoft Security platform. Synthesize both business and technical architecture requirements. Act as the primary technical authority in the security domain for the regional sales team. Collaborate with other security organizations within Microsoft to create and repurpose content, accelerate client adoption, and influence the prioritization of solution development. Deliver presentations promoting Microsoft Security at business conferences.
Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

  • 8+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting
    • OR a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field AND 6+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs):

  • Proven facilitation skills with validated customer experience in requirements gathering, prioritization, and quantifying business value through evidence capture.
  • Broad technical knowledge with intermediate experience across the full spectrum of Microsoft cloud solutions, including Azure infrastructure, Azure Developer, Azure data, artificial intelligence, business applications, modern workplace, productivity, and security. Demonstrated experience in solution architectures that span multiple workloads.
  • Experience in Design Thinking methodologies, including delivering ideation sessions or similar context analysis/problem framing.
  • In-depth technical experience as a solutions architect, security researcher, incident responder, or similar role within Microsoft's security toolset or competitive security technologies. Familiarity with the broader Microsoft Cloud technology stack and its integration with security components. Design of security architectures aligned with regulatory and governance frameworks. Advanced industry security certifications such as CISSO, GSE, or equivalent.
