Your role:

As a dedicated Key Account Manager, you will be instrumental in the ongoing success of Clarios within the automotive aftermarket sector. Your dedication to achieving strategic objectives and executing essential tasks is vital for our collective growth and success.

Primary responsibilities:

Manage customer relationships across all levels and relevant functions. Formulate and execute account strategies with clients to deliver value and achieve business outcomes. Provide regular forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, monitor performance, and implement corrective measures as necessary. Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute marketing initiatives. Ensure coordination and alignment of all customer-specific activities with internal teams across various regions. Design and implement strategies to meet and surpass financial goals. Gain comprehensive insights into the markets your clients operate in and their key players. Build and maintain strong relationships with all levels of management within client organizations. Proactively identify and address challenges to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. Work collaboratively with internal departments, including logistics, finance, and marketing, to achieve organizational objectives. Focus on 80% aftermarket business in Africa and 20% in France.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are a plus. Proven experience in sales management or a similar position, particularly within the Automotive Aftermarket in Africa. Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative work environment. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to navigate complex situations. Basic knowledge of SAP is preferred. Proficiency in both French and English. A demonstrated sense of ownership and commitment to achieving sales targets. Proactive and results-driven mindset. Value collaboration and teamwork. Customer-centric and relationship-focused approach. Open to innovation and new technologies. Willingness to travel within EMEA, primarily in France and Africa, up to 35% of the time.
