The French market presents an exciting opportunity for growth, driven by regulatory changes demanding digital receipts and related technologies. We're seeking a sales expert to establish our presence from scratch and drive success in this emerging market.

Salary: €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus performance-based commission.

Job Description

We're looking for a seasoned sales professional to lead our French market expansion efforts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in France.
  • Building a pipeline of potential customers and generating new business opportunities through prospecting and outreach.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to drive demand and support sales efforts.
  • Staying up-to-date with market trends and competitive activity in the French retail industry.
  • Providing regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum 4-5 years of experience in a sales role selling SaaS solutions to mid-to-large enterprises, with a proven track record of success.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • A strong understanding of the SaaS industry and the French retail market.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Confidence in managing sales cycles and utilizing methods like SPIN/NEAT/MEDDIC.
  • A charming and empathetic personality, with confidence in dealing with cold calls and senior stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A self-starter mentality with a strong drive to succeed and grow.
