About the Role:

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) Softgoods Trail & Outdoor M/W is a key position within Salomon's sales team, responsible for driving sales and promoting the brand to achieve sales targets for Salomon Trail and Outdoor categories in the designated region of Paris and East France.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the seasonal sales and distribution targets in the defined territory
  • Develop a seasonal 'game plan' to drive Salomon brand guidelines, strategies and priorities (PP program)
  • Meet the seasonal key product category objectives in sales and distribution
  • Identify territory sales, distribution and promotion opportunities
  • Take care of all the customer related topics - sales and accounting aspects
  • Sell Thru & Consumer Experience: Ensure a high level of product expertise and brand knowledge (Shop Pro Training) for store employees in Premium Partner and selected category specialty doors for a best in class consumer experience
  • Inform Market Manager of trade related information on an ongoing basis
  • Shares best practice across sales and marketing team

Qualifications:

  • Essential Skills & Experience: You possess 5-6 years of experience in related sales roles with strong selling and negotiating skills
  • Strong analytical skills in order to analyse sell thru and sales data
  • Microsoft Office, advanced excel (pivot tables)
  • Languages: French and English Fluency
