Regional Sales Manager

As the Regional Sales Manager at Anixter International, you will oversee and direct a sales territory, market segment, or distribution channel to meet sales and profitability objectives. Your role will involve crafting sales initiatives, predicting sales performance, nurturing supplier partnerships, and guiding a team of sales experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set a strong example and engage in sales efforts
  • Formulate and implement sales strategies to ensure client satisfaction and achievement of targets
  • Evaluate sales patterns and outcomes to meet yearly objectives
  • Define sales goals and project sales performance
  • Enhance the effectiveness of the territory and convey the overarching strategy
  • Monitor sales performance and product assortment by keeping abreast of market developments
  • Oversee order fulfillment and manage the sales team
  • Maintain professional expertise and liaise with upper management

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant sales experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience at a national or regional scale
  • Capability to assess and execute sales strategies
  • Experience in business development and functioning within a matrix management structure
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong organizational and computer proficiency
  • Willingness to travel as necessary

Work Environment: Field Sales - Operate in an office setting with travel to client locations. May encounter outdoor weather conditions.
