- As a key member of the legal department, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- You will work closely with the Head of Legal to develop and implement legal strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, partners, and service providers in French and English.
- Support the company's international expansion by providing legal advice on cross-border transactions and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to the implementation of new regulations and ensure that the company's operations are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze legal developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Organize and lead internal training sessions to ensure that all employees are aware of their legal obligations and responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain procedures, instructions, and guides to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of new products and services, including the creation of contract documentation.
- Review and validate marketing materials and communications to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Participate in meetings with clients, partners, and service providers to provide legal advice and support.
- Represent the company in legal matters and participate in external events and conferences.
- Contribute to the reporting and analysis of the legal department's activities and performance.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in law with a strong interest in the fintech industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Business-oriented with a strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Expertise in banking and financial law.
- Organized, methodical, and rigorous with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
